Member of the Public Sector Leadership KPMG Germany, Head of the SmartCity Initiative KPMG LAW Germany Hartfrid Wolff received his 1. State Exam in Freiburg i.Br. 1997, his 2. State Exam 1999 in Stuttgart. From 1999 on Hartfrid Wolff worked as a Lawyer for KPMG responsible for Labor and Company Law in Stuttgart. In 2005 Hartfrid Wolff was elected as a member of the German Parliament (Deutscher Bundestag). He started being the responsible rapporteur on Migration, Civil Security and criminal preventions issues for the Free Democratic Group in Parliament. In his second legislative period Hartfrid Wolff was elected member of the executive board of the Group of the Free Democrats as head of the parliamentarian committees for judicial and security affairs. Hartfrid Wolff was member of the parliamentarian committes of Homeland Security (”Innenausschuss”), the Committee of Justice as well as – from 2009-2014 – the secret Parliamentarian Control Committee of the German Intelligence Agencies.
In 2013 Hartfrid Wolff returned to KPMG LAW. For KPMG he is member of the leadership team KPMG Public Sector responsible for the services regarding security agencies, the SmartCity-Initiative and the Public Sector in Southwest.
Hartfrid Wolff was Founding-Member of the SmartCity/SmartRegion-Working Group at the Bitkom Association.
He is also honorary president of the German Traffic Security Association (Deutsche Verkehrswacht) in Baden-Württemberg, member of the advisory council of the German Firefeighters Association and the German Life-Saver-Association (DLRG Baden-Württemberg).
