Stephan Holowaty received his University diploma in Business Administration from Hamburg University in 1988. As a start-up entrepreneur he founded an IT system house focusing on IT collaboration solutions and advanced IT training. He has more than 20 years of experience as an IT project manager, consultant, systems architect and instructor, since 1999 as a freelance consultant specializing in international projects, including vast experience in creating and managing outsourcing contracts, transition projects and in consulting with top management in digitization strategies.
In 2017, Stephan Holowaty was elected member of State Parliament in Schleswig-Holstein in Germany for the FDP (liberal party) and since then serves as his faction’s speaker for digitization, data security, data privacy, data protection and European and Baltic Sea affairs. He is also a delegate of Schleswig-Holstein to the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Council (BSPC).
