Marco is an urban thinker, author and consultant from Mexico, specializing in urban legislation and planning reforms. Marco served as advisor for Mexico’s Senate during the drafting and approval of the national urban reform bill, currently one of the most innovative urban planning and development legislations in the world. He has designed dozens of public and private urban acupuncture and tactical urbanism projects, particularly in impoverished and violence stricken communities in Mexico’s northern border cities.
Marco is an advisor of the Friedrich Naumann Stiftung Fur de Freiheit’s Smart Cities Program with the the “Alianza para Centroamerica” (Central American Alliance).
