Co-founder of Health Tech Lab and an expert advisor

Dr Ivana Kostić is the Co-founder of Health Tech Lab and an expert advisor for programs and projects of Technology Transfer of the Innovation Fund.
The Health Tech Lab model was named the Ecosystem Best Practice for 2020 by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) - specialized agency of the United Nations responsible for all matters related to information and communication technologies. The awarded model crosses the innovation-in-health gap between the developed and developing countries. In 2019 Ivana was awarded the National female role model by the Central European Startup Awards and was one of four finalists for the Women in Tech International challenge in science and research category with the Health Tech Lab project.

She holds a PhD degree from the MIT Portugal program, majoring in bioengineering systems. Through the same program, she gained rich experience in the field of innovative entrepreneurship, which was further enriched by the Israeli MASHAV program.
